NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Amendment to Zoning Regulations and Rezoning of Property
City of New Melle

The Board of Aldermen of the City of New Melle will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. with regard to amendment of its zoning regulations and its zoning district map as described herein. The public hearing will be a part of the regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen to be held at City Hall, 145 Almeling Street, New Melle, Missouri 63365. The amendments to be considered are as follows: (i) an amendment to Title IV, Land Use, in order to eliminate the Historic Preservation Zoning District (currently set forth in Section 405.210 of the Municipal Code) as a separate zoning district and delete references to such zoning district throughout Title IV; (ii) an amendment to Appendix A of Title IV in order to delete the column for the Historic Preservation Zoning District; and (iii) amendments to the City’s zoning map in order to rezone parcels which are currently zoned as Historic Preservation District to an appropriate residential or commercial zoning district.
