PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING

JULY 22, 2008

Call to order at 7:00 pm

ROLL CALL:  Barry Shortt, Maggie Petersen, Jan Muskopf, Wally Karase, Ken Gilbert present

A motion was made to approve the minutes from June 24th meeting. Approved 5 - 0. There was no meeting on July 8th.

BUILDING PERMITS

     Building permit - finish basement - Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church - Barry motions to approve,

     Wally seconds. Approved  5 - 0.

     Sign Permit - Frisella Nursery, Inc. - sign located 3610 Mill Street - Maggie  motions to approve, Ken

     seconds.  Approved 5 - 0.

     Building Permit - inground pool - 1027 Sycamore Creek Dr. - Wally motions to approve, Maggie seconds.

     Approved 5 - 0.

OPEN FORUM

      1) Discussed email request from Dave Cruz for a haunted field activity for Halloween at the Dive Stop.

      2) Introduction of Mr. Roger Brink, prospective member of P&Z Commission.

      3) Removal of Storage shed next to City Hall.

      4) City Hall sign - disposition/repair of.
